Two Tides a Day
A live, self-contained physics toy that reveals why Earth gets two tidal bulges. Drag the Moon and rotate the Earth; the bulges follow a real gravity-gradient calculation, the differential force is drawn as arrows, adding the Sun produces spring and neap tides, and twelve real coastal locations build a shareable tide card.
