An interactive physics toy: drag marshmallows onto a tray inside a microwave cavity, run it, disable the turntable to reveal the raw standing-wave pattern, measure the hot-spot spacing, and derive the speed of light from your kitchen. Twelve cavity geometries each produce a genuinely different mode pattern.
