Traffic ER: Will This Account Survive the Night?
Traffic ER (流量急诊室) is a mobile-first, single-page teaching game for the first lesson of a university course on short-video creation and operations. At 23:57, students step in as temporary account managers and take on one of four failing accounts — an anime stitch lab, a romance gossip channel, a K-pop trend desk, or a short-drama plot factory. Each case runs five stages (audience, topic, hook, production, data), every choice moves hidden metrics that surface as five visible vitals, and bad calls trigger instant failures (stolen footage, fake news, stalking shots, manipulative editing, bought data). Finish well and you graduate as a Content System Builder; finish badly and you leave as a Viral Copier, Algorithm Wisher, Hook Foreman or Data-Beauty Salon Director. The post-run reveal maps the experience onto a 5-chapter course map, 6 semester tasks and a Vibe Coding toolkit. All content is labeled as a teaching simulation; Chinese and English locales are fully supported with bilingual UI toggling.
