Gesture Ripple Pond
Gesture Ripple Pond is a camera-powered interactive art experience where hand movements create real-time ripples on a virtual ukiyo-e inspired water canvas. Grant camera access to track your hand via MediaPipe and watch concentric wave rings emanate from your fingertip. Falls back seamlessly to a manual joystick when camera is unavailable. Tracks index fingertip and palm position to control ripple origin at 30fps. Renders capped particle ripples with Hokusai-inspired white wave contours on an indigo cyber-mist pond. Displays a calibration overlay with a 2-second hold countdown and real-time hand-status badge. Exports a PNG still of the pond canvas without camera feed. Supports language switching between English and Chinese.
