Ember Flies
Ember Flies is a touch-only, portrait interactive where you become the light. Drag your lantern-cursor across ruins lit by ember sprites and thousands of moths react with real phototaxis—orbiting, spiraling, and resting on the glow. Draw light-paths to choreograph the swarm into shapes, then long-press to flare and scatter-bloom them across the screen. Individual wings catch the light, swarm density forms soft glowing bodies, and each flare bursts into a breathtaking scatter. When you're done, the app composes a swarm-choreography long-exposure card you can replay or share to the community. Built mobile-first with English and Chinese locales, it runs entirely on-device with no login, no external services, and no music.
