Through the Window
Through the Window is a quiet, meditative experience where you open a real historic window from five cultures — a Suzhou garden lattice in China, a Kyoto shoji screen in Japan, a Jaipur jali panel in India, a Cairo mashrabiya in Egypt, and a Chartres gothic shutter in France. Each window opens with its own authentic gesture, revealing the scene beyond and layering in procedural ambient sound. A sliding info panel shares the window's name, period, materials, climate role, and cultural meaning. Swipe between countries or use the world map to travel. A calm, gesture-driven journey through architecture, light, and place.
