Build a Periscope
A mobile optics construction puzzle. Twist mirrors and drag lenses into a tube while a live ray trace shows exactly where the light goes; the eyepiece image forms honestly with real inversion, magnification and a dark or partial field when misaligned. Build six instruments — periscope, kaleidoscope, camera obscura, telescope, microscope and beam splitter.
