Mother Jar
Mother Jar is a tactile keepsake toy about tending a living sourdough starter. Each visit you feed it flour with a tap and fold it with a drag; between visits it rises on its own, developing bubble networks, a face, and shifting moods. Dough physics jiggle with real elasticity and bubbles grow visibly across sessions. Bake-day milestones convert portions of the mother into browned bread portraits that line your bakery shelf while the starter itself lives on. The result screen shows a bakery-shelf card with your mother's age and a bread gallery you can share to the community or replay. Mobile-first portrait, touch only, fully offline, with an English/Chinese toggle.
