Hairspring Truing
A mobile precision-craft game: drag with tweezers to bend the coils of a magnified watch hairspring true. Flatness and concentricity are measured separately and correcting one disturbs the other; a rate test spins the balance to reveal positional error. Twelve springs with distinct starting faults, including a permanent kink to work around.
