A browser-only utility that rewrites the bytes of a document so the copy keeps its filename but fails to open. Drop DOCX, PPTX, XLSX, PDF, ZIP, OLE2 or plain-text files, choose a fault type and a severity, and download the damaged copy. Four fault types are available: format error, corrupted and needing repair, version incompatible, and opens-but-garbled. Office Open XML packages are unpacked and rebuilt in the browser, so version and package declarations are rewritten for real rather than randomly overwritten. Nothing is uploaded and originals are never modified.
