Waiting for AGI
Waiting for AGI is a live, collective art piece inspired by Samuel Beckett's "Waiting for Godot." Users enter their name to join a group of ASCII stick figures wandering endlessly beneath a dithered black sky, waiting for AGI — a Godot who never arrives. Displays a real-time doomsday timer tracking how long the collective wait has lasted. Shows all waiting figures in a shared scene that syncs live across every connected session. New figures spawn and wander when users join. Characters Didi and Gogo from the original play are always present. Features a terminal-style name entry modal with a "Detecting signal…" flicker animation. Serves as quiet satire of AGI hype culture — the longer you wait, the more absurd it becomes.
